Gopez Reunion

December 30. Rizal Day. Still can't process with my normal self due to hangover. Ate at Mcdo with my three babies before they went home. Waited for my family to fetch me in Taft. Don't have any idea that we will be having a reunion in Cainta, luckily I brought some clothes for that event. Felt sleepy the whole time, from Taft-Cainta. Got lost in our way to Pasig, instead we passed by BGC because of a wrong turn. (Still can remember the face of my father, when we got lost in Taguig) HAHA!

Luckily we found our way to exit Global City. HAHAHA! :)) Our cute cousins, welcomed us plus the reserve table of foods and beers. Exchanging of hugs, besos, stories, laughs, gossips and dance numbers. Anyway, here are some photos from yesterday's reunion.

CHECK-IN day.

December 29. Day-out with my babies, Ruston, Cla and Belle. 3 pm call time in Greenbelt. From Cavite, then Vito Cruz, CLOSED Ayala Avenue (oh-em traffic. :[ ), visited my BFF Fen's office in Dela Rosa (where she is working for her OJT), and walked all the way to Greenbelt-Landmark in my wedges (sorry, but i managed to do so, without aching feet! :P). I arrived at around 5pm because I'm the most pachix of them all. HAHA! Then off to BGC to soothe my cravings for Jamba juice.

Burlesque: I never get tired of watching it.

High School Musical of Disney started me to be hook to musical-type movies. I printed out their lyrics, downloaded their whole soundtrack, plus copied their moves and sang it with full of emotions. HAHA! Still can remember those times when I tried to become Gabriella in that Breaking Free moment when she twirled with grace while having that eye contact with Troy. (Oh high school!) Then it was followed by Grease, a John Travolta-Olivia Newton John movie, which I think HSM was based. Another more vintage movie, Sound of Music of Julie Andrews, which I keep also from replaying again and again, most especially the My Favorite Thing part, then singing it like a trying hard theater actress. Well, for the record? I still don't know the reason why I love musical-type movies. (?) HAHA!

Then early this year when I watched Burlesque, which I copied from a friend. I never thought of musical movie and more on to relationship-sexy-romance-love story type, which I was corrected when I finally watched it in our pc. Upon watching it, "WHY I NEVER HAD THE CHANCE OF KNOWING THIS BEFORE?". Seriously, I wasn't aware that Christina Aguilera had this movie, plus her huge voice, great dancing skills and skinny figure (I envy your body so much! :[ ). 

I immediately got hooked with it, enjoyed every songs plus their moves. Then the HOT body of Jack (oh Cam Gigandet, let me be your snack! HAHA. now replaying that Twilight scene!). Sorry to say, I was so trying hard when I copied their moves, while my sisters raised their eyebrows. :)) Oh Ali, can I just borrow your body for a year, then your voice, then your hair, then your boobs, and finally Jack. HAHAHA! :))

Good Girl

Christmas 2011

Christmas Eve. Gone to ATC to buy clothes for Christmas, plus mani-pedi, got stocked in traffic, went home at around 8pm, and most of all NOT enough sleep. We started our Noche Buena early, because we all wanted to recharge and get some sleep. Our usual Christmas menu, roast beef, molo soup, carbonara, fried chicken and buko salad. Then gift giving, got my itouch. I love you so much Papa! <3 
Got early to hear the Christmas mass, and what we expected we heard the mass outside the church due to the  numbers of people who heard the mass and to have the chance to see and kiss baby Jesus. Then off to visit relatives and family friends. Got some aguinaldos (Yehey for this!), and had again our Christmas lunch with the whole clan. (we miss our Faigal family, go home soon guys! :*). Attended again another reunion, oh hello bloated tummy. 

Missed this.

I had a review that Sunday, so wasn't able to join my family in having the usual family bonding in ATC. Then, upon browsing the pictures from the camera, saw these adorable dogs (kind of familiar breed? thought of seeing them from a movie). I have phobia in dogs, for  I was once victimized by a stray dog and he thought of eating a delicious ham while biting my right hand.  ( I can still imagine my whole class in Grade V, when they panic with my dog incident, HAHA!). Anyway, who said dogs can't go out at the town? :")

Delivery Room Rotation

I am a graduating student, and PRC cases are my top priority. Thus, our school should be putting us in lying-in or hospitals with "a lot" of cases, yes I will be saying it again A LOT. Our RLE group was assigned first and foremost in GUADALUPE lying-in, and good thing my school license in that lying-in expired for no reason at all, so we were transferred to Puericulture Caloocan, where at total we only had 4 cases for handle and cord care.


We are graduating fourth year students, and our school should be giving priority for our duties especially in special areas like delivery room and operating room. I'll be honest enough that I don't have any cases for my DR rotation, meaning ZERO cases and my hopes are all high when I heard that, that there are many cases in Guadalupe. But unfortunately, after number of times talking to our coordinator, we just had these statements "Check po muna for one week, then kapag wala sabihan agad ako if wala talagang cases". After one week, still we don't have any news of transfer to other hospital, and we end up, ending our completion-DR duty, with only 4 cases. Thanks to my school, I am still in need of DR cases.
But anyway, here are some of pictures from Puericulture. We don't have anything to do, and waiting for some pregnant to deliver her baby is really a tough one.

Start of Holiday Vacation

7 days of lecture-duty-review, I should be bidding you goodbye for a while. 11 days of rest, sleep, I badly needed you right now. I promise to use you wisely. I PROMISE.

9f duty in Manila Doctors Hospital. Then, a staff nurse holding a bottle of juju cleanse. I read about that Juju cleanse before, but never had a chance of trying it. Talked to my friend Rielle about it, who is currently addicted to this wheat grass juice.

21 years and still counting!

Last November 30, 2011 we had the pre-celebration of the 21st Anniversary of my parents. We didn't had the chance to take pictures of the food we ate because of our grumbling stomach that time. But instead, we ended up having our own way of photo booth minus the laptop. It's cheat day, so I shall eat anything I want. Unlimited yogurt, unlimited steaks, unlimited pizza, unlimited sushi/s and sashimi, and etc. I love you Vikings. Next time, we will be EARLIER, for sure.

But what's with Decemeber 1?

I don't know the reason but, our family had a tradition of getting married ALWAYS on December 1. My parents, my tito Mark and tita Ellen, my Lolo Aning and Lola Chedeng, and lastly my Tatay Leon and Nanay Uleng.

So starting the month of December is not just merely, the 24 days before Christmas. But also, celebrating the endless love of my four favorite couples. :) To my Lola Chedeng and Nanay Uleng, I love you so much. We missed you always, I know both of you are now celebrating in heaven, and you will be always there for your partners. 

Happy Anniversary to my special couples. Be in love with each other over and over again. <3

Happy Anniversary Papa and Mama!

It's been 21 years since both of you knot the ties and shared your "I dos" to each other. Captured each other hearts and happiness, been the best of friends that still became strong and surpassed every good and bad times you both faced. Been that special couple for the three angels from above, given them the love and care each child deserves. Become the inspiration and hero for that three, giving them the complete and amazing feeling of being part of a united family.



Twenty-one years of love and endearment to each other, the feeling of completeness when you are with your husband/wife, the sweet smile you do whenever your partner given you some special surprise that on your thoughts, you are starting to speak to God, "Lord, I know no one lives perfectly, but you shared that special someone that will let me feel that my life is perfect whenever I'm with him/her and my family.". Thoughts that you utter with no fears, for you have that someone to be with you through thick and thin, that person that will not let you suffer those challenges alone, that person that will be your hero, and will promise you that your love for each other will last forever.

Papa and Mama. I am but your offspring that will continue to be in love with your relationship. Thank you, for being our parents that given us support and taught us lessons that will be carrying throughout our lives. You both are perfect for us. You both given us the family, that strong foundation, that neither problems nor a storm will keep us from falling apart, for both of you will always be that strong walls that will give us the warmth and comfort that will keep us going.

Benign Duty

Kimono Jacket

Yesterday, I went to Noel Bazaar @ World Trade Center together with my friend Nicole. I didn't bring much money because I only wanted to canvass and buy accessories that night. But, these kimono jackets caught my attention. ( :D) Unfortunately I run out of money, so befriending the "ate" and getting her number where my diskartes to get my reservations. (talk about being desperate here!) Hahaha! God loves me so much that my mother wants to go this Saturday, so I will just use my pa-cute styles to her to buy this for me. :D

Intensive Nursing Program

So, first day of INP today. Morning shift, then a toxic patient with close monitoring. (thank you Nursing!) But in any case, I didn't took my lunch earlier so a big check to my diet regimen (anorexic diet I guess?). Hahaha!

Haggard look and eye bags are my bestfriends during duties. Anyway, I will be hibernating for a while, then hibernate again, hibernate a little longer and so on.

God hears, God speaks.

This day is just tough for me. I cried, I can't hardly breathe. I don't want to elaborate more. But I guess, I find God to talk to, to listen to my feelings and thoughts while I was so down and crying earlier. I opened the bible for four times, and for the fourth time of asking God, "God, what should I do?" this is what I got.

A Prayer in Distress (Psalm 143)

"Show me the path I should walk, for to you I entrust my life. Rescue me, Lord, from my foes, for in you I hope. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your kind spirit guide me on ground that is level"

An excerpt from the Psalm 143. I don't know if it's coincidence or what but I guess God wants me to trusts Him, and be faithful to Him during this tough times. I want to thank my friends that gave their time listening to me earlier. It really helped me to loosen up and stop crying. (I love you guys! You know who you are. <3 )

Gulaman Only

Well, I fell in love again with milk tea that night thus making my taste buds to crave for Simple Line. I was actually talking to my friend Rielle in Facebook due to her Chatime cravings during that night. And because I want her to get higher cravings for milk tea, I brag about buying Simple Line (and left her drooling for milk tea). Hahaha!

Talking about karma. While buying for my usual Tapioca Black Milk Tea..

P: Ate, isa pong tapioca black milk tea, 50% sugar.

Ate: Okay po. 60 php.

(may ate na sumabat) "AY! WALA NA PALANG SAGO"

Ate: Mam gulaman na lang pwede e. Okay lang po? Sorry nakalimutan kong wala na ubos na pala yung sago kanina pa.

Belle De Jour 2012 Planner

My first time to have a planner (seriously!). Yearly I challenged myself to complete the stamps from Starbucks to win their planner, but unfortunately I just end up giving my (3-5 stamps) to my friends. Hahaha! Anyway, just because I want to, I ordered through online for this planner (effort ko pa, nabibili naman pala to sa National Bookstore). Thanks to Irene Chua for this! :)

I ordered the book bind type (chaka kasi nung ring bind lang), and found this ONE freebie from Serenitea, but again FREE SINKERS only. :( But all in, the planner is somewhat nice (plus the discounts and freebies) and I hope laziness will not bless me in writing stuffs for my planner. 

Bad day. Thank you Hormones.

I don't want to attend school today, but its Monday and I'm ace-ing my attendance this semester, so I ended up following my good conscience (+1 for this! :D ). First thing, I felt nauseated and I have dysmenorrhea (so loss of appetite is evident to me). Menstruation why are you so mad today? My head hurts, as well as my abdomen, I feel bloated (even if I didn't eat anything heavy today), and what's worst? I have sore throat because I ate shrimps yesterday (?). Yes, I am allergic to sea foods and I had my allergic reaction in my throat, I literally felt the itchy sensation in my throat and not on my skin yesterday. So I guess, this is a thank you gift of the shrimp for eating him. I don't know, I'm full of unexplained emotions today. Thank you hormones for working so well, and giving me a bad day.

Pig-out day.

After so many times of planning of a "day-out" (plus a pig-out day), eventually last Sunday we finally made it. As always I was late in our call time of 12 noon, but still I didn't ditched you guys. :))

Megamall, last day of F21 sale, (and yes I didn't bought anything, kasi tinamad ako ang daming TAO), Bubble Tea, Chewy Junior, then Greenbelt, Chatime, waited HOURS for Yakimix, Conti's. Supposedly we should be shopping that day, not having these endless food trips.

From my high school days until now, I'm still being compared to Judy Anne Santos (we have big resemblance because of our face structure they say). I have big cheeks (/), circular face (/), plus huge jaw bone structure (/), which Juday also have. Anyway, I just played around with my picture plus her's. Sorry for my ever corny title. I just want to share some "G jokes" of my one professor in Nursing. I prefer him to be called Sir Grimace. First thing, I really don't like him that much, but he is trying to make jokes so I will let you guys feel his humor.

I will be stating the whole joke in Tagalog for the betterment of delivering Sir Grimace's joke.

I was in Greenbelt and I thought of buying Conti's to my mother because she really is crazy for mango bravo. So as part of showing her that I bought her, her favorite cake, I posted on her Facebook wall and here is the print screen of our conversation. (Sorry, tawa ko ng tawa sa mga pinagsasabi ni mama!!)

Still on the process.

Three weeks of constant dieting. Barely eating foods I want, except for milk tea ( torture para sa akin pag wala to). And drink (yes drinking LITERS) of water everyday just to feel full and don't accept temptations of food. Here is my collar bone, waving "hi" to you. Woo! (ang saya ko seryoso!!)

Color my Hair.

It was late January 2011 when I first tried to color my brown-black hair. My friend suggested me to try chesnut-brown for my hair color, sadly it was too bright and turned out to be like orange-red-yellow-brown color.

Just being random that day, I just texted one of my high school best friend Sarah, an iphone-message conversation that I saw in a Tumblr post.  Trying to copy it, here's a screen shot of it.

FIRST.

I promised myself last week that I should start my own blog site. Maybe, a case of using my semestral break wisely, and just devote myself in writing rather than eating. Haha! No seriously, I was just influenced by many blog sites I visited these past few days, and kept me thinking, "why not start my own?". I usually do my "not-so-good" writing abilities in my Tumblr account and most of my posts their are usually re-blogs or some of my own ways of photo-blogging.

I am not a frustrated writer either, I don't even had an experience of showcasing my writing talents before nor been involved in school clubs that work on the school newspaper. I am self-confessed lazy being, when it comes to these kind of things. But, luckily I have SOME days when my hormones send impulses to my brain to write about things I love or I had experience in my life. And starting today, I would like to congratulate myself, that it is official that I am now TRYING to be a blogger, keeping you guys updates from my awesome life (?). Hahaha! :)
