It was late January 2011 when I first tried to color my brown-black hair. My friend suggested me to try chesnut-brown for my hair color, sadly it was too bright and turned out to be like orange-red-yellow-brown color.
Sorry for my f*ck faces for the both pictures, I can't find any pictures that have the same resemblance of my before-after hair color pictures. I really hated my first ever try coloring my hair, it turned out to be that "i-don't-know-what-is-that" color which is really a big difference from the hair color palette the hair dresser showed me. Turned out to be a failure for that first try, I wore that hair color for about 3 months and did another try. Again, I tried to ask for any suggestions with my friends. One suggested me to try light or medium brown color. So it turned out to be like this.
I did like the medium brown color, actually I love it. But, for the reason of being a Nursing student and having my first duty rotation to a strict clinical instructor, I chose to blacken my hair again. The hair dresser now did dark-brown color for my "back-to-black" goal.
So total I had three consecutive times of coloring my hair, in just 6 months time. And now, because of the start of my semestral break, I am planning of dyeing my hair again, plus hair relax because my hair began to be wavy and unmanageable these past few weeks. I did a research again and asked friends for any suggestions that can be both good to me and okay for my course. I'm planning to try medium ash brown (?)
Here's a picture of a medium ash brown. It looks nice, but crossing fingers here, I am REALLY hoping this would be my last time in coloring my hair this 2011. I would just blog and update you guys after my hair relax and color. :)
